According to our sources, Paramount Pictures is expected to release their reboot of SCARY MOVIE on VOD and digital platforms next month, arriving on July 21st, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on June 5th, 2026.

Scary Movie is directed by Michael Tiddes and written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Rick Alvarez. The film stars Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall.
Twenty-six years after the original massacre, Cindy, Brenda, Shorty, and Ray get dragged back into the chaos by a brand-new masked killer who clearly never learned when to quit. Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall reunite, alongside returning favorites, for the wildly unhinged return to the franchise’s original roots — where every target is fair game and every line gets crossed.
