The blockbuster animated sequel ZOOTOPIA 2 is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on Disney+ on March 11th, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on November 26th, 2025, and hit PVOD on January 27th, 2026.
Zootopia 2 is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, written by Bush, and stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Shakira, Ke Huy Quan, Fortune Feimster, and Quinta Brunson.
In the film, detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.
The film’s box-office numbers are staggering. Zootopia 2 is now the highest-grossing animated Motion Picture Association (MPA) film of all time, having surpassed Inside Out 2. This milestone also makes Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2 the #9 biggest film in history worldwide.
