Ron Howard’s EDEN Gets Netflix Streaming Premiere Date

The Vertical Entertainment drama EDEN is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Netflix on December 23rd, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival and launched in US theaters on August 22nd, 2025. It hit PVOD on September 19th, 2025.

Eden is directed by Ron Howard and written by Noah Pink from a story by Pink and Howard. It stars Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Sydney Sweeney, Jude Law, Daniel Brühl, Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace and Richard Roxburgh. The film is based on the true story of a few European settlers arriving at Floreana Island, in the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador.

In the film, a group of people is fueled by a profound desire for change. In order to turn their back to society they leave everything behind and set their futures on the harsh landscape of the Galapagos.
