Netflix has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming drama TYLER PERRY’S DOING LIFE, which will begin streaming on their platform on October 2nd, 2026.
Tyler Perry’s Doing Life is written and directed by, you guessed it, Tyler Perry and stars Naomi Baker, Jay Reeves, Tamberla Perry, Karen Obilom, Jasmine Sargent, Lucky Johnson, and Danielle Moné Truitt.
In the film, when Anika (Naomi Baker), a young single mother fighting to hold her family together, begins exchanging letters with Carousel (Jay Reeves), an inmate serving out his sentence, an unlikely long-distance bond grows into something completely unexpected. Their connection ignites a powerful journey of love, redemption, and the hope of breaking free from their troubled pasts, proving that even the most inconceivable of relationships can transform lives and secure second chances at happiness.
