Netflix has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming documentary MARTY, LIFE IS SHORT, which will premiere on their platform on May 12th, 2026.
Marty, Life is Short is directed by Lawrence Kasdan (The Big Chill, Silverado). Brian Grazer and Ron Howard exec produced, with their Imagine Documentaries as the production company.
From breakout success on SCTV and Saturday Night Live to scene-stealing roles in iconic films and a Tony-winning run on Broadway, Martin Short has built one of comedy’s most inventive and enduring careers. Now this new documentary will take an in-depth look at his more than five decades in the spotlight.
