Hulu has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming boxing drama THEY FIGHT, which will begin streaming on their platform on July 17th, 2026. The film is set to world premiere this week at the Tribeca Film Festival.
They Fight is directed by Sheldon Candis and co-written by Andrew Renzi. It stars André Holland, Wendell Pierce, Samira Wiley, Anthony B. Jenkins, Toissaint Francois Battiste, and Mykelti Williamson, and is based on the 2018 documentary film of the same name.
In the film, reformed ex-convict Walt Manigan returns home to rebuild his family with the love of his life, Ketta. His path leads him to a boxing gym inside a D.C. youth recreation center about to be closed. There, he works under the wise coach Slim to mentor a group of boys to train for the junior national boxing tournament, all leading to a showdown between best friends Quincey and Peanut as they battle for a spot on the U.S. Junior Olympic Team.
