According to our sources, Vertical Entertainment is expected to release their fantasy adventure THE MAGIC FARAWAY TREE on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on September 22nd, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on August 21st, 2026.

The Magic Faraway Tree is directed by Ben Gregor from a screenplay written by Simon Farnaby, adapted from Enid Blyton’s book series The Faraway Tree. It stars Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Nonso Anozie, Nicola Coughlan, Jessica Gunning, Jennifer Saunders, and Rebecca Ferguson.
In the film, a modern family relocates to the countryside where the children discover a magical tree with eccentric residents. They’re transported to fantastical lands, rekindling their family bond through adventures.
