Warner Bros has confirmed the PVOD release date for their horror fantasy THE BRIDE!, which will arrive on VOD and digital platforms on April 7th, 2026. In addition the studio has set a launch date for the film’s 4K/Blu-ray/DVD release, which will hit retail on May 19th, 2026.

Burbank, CA, March 31, 2026 – The Bride!, a bold, iconoclastic take on one of the world’s most compelling stories, comes from Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Maggie Gyllenhaal and debuts digitally at home on April 7.
Written, directed and produced by Gyllenhaal, The Bride! stars Academy Award winners Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Academy Award nominee Annette Bening, Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Academy Award winner Penélope Cruz.
- On April 7, The Bride! will be available Digitally at home on participating digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Fandango at Home, and more.
- On May 19, The Bride! will be available to own on 4K UHD™, Blu-ray™, and DVD from online and physical retailers. The Bride! will also continue to be available in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.

About the Film

A lonely “Frank” (Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. The two revive a murdered young woman and The Bride (Buckley) is born. What ensues is beyond what either of them imagined: Murder! Possession! A radical cultural movement! And outlaw lovers in a wild and combustible romance!
The film stars Buckley, Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, with Bening, Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, and Oscar winner Penélope Cruz. Maggie Gyllenhaal directs from her own screenplay and produces alongside Oscar nominee Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Talia Kleinhendler and Osnat Handelsman Keren. The executive producers are Carla Raij, David Webb and Courtney Kivowitz.
