A24 has unveiled the official trailer and poster for their upcoming horror thriller BACKROOMS, which will launch in US theaters on May 29th, 2026.
Backrooms is directed by Kane Parsons and written by Will Soodik. It stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell.
In the film, a strange doorway appears in the basement of a furniture showroom.

Another soon to be edge of your seat A24 production any film is enhanced when the wildly talented Renate Reinsve is involved. I did just think they were using the set of Severance before Ben Stiller Shoots season 3. That being said I’ll watch it the moment it comes onto streaming.
