Sony Pictures Classics has released an official trailer and poster for their upcoming animated feature THEY SHOT THE PIANO PLAYER. The film world premiered at this year’s Telluride Film Festival and will arrive in US theaters in limited release on November 24th, 2023.

They Shot the Piano Player is an adult animated docudrama directed by Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal. Centered around the real-life disappearance and presumed murder of Brazilian pianist Francisco Tenório Júnior in 1976, the film stars Jeff Goldblum as an American music journalist investigating Tenório's case.
