UPDATE: Searchlight Pictures Shifts Hulu Premiere Date for Rock Opera O’DESSA

Searchlight Pictures has pushed back the streaming premiere date for their upcoming rock opera O’DESSA, which will now begin streaming on Hulu on March 13th, 2025 March 20th, 2025. The film will world premiere at the upcoming SXSW Festival.

O’Dessa is written and directed by Geremy Jasper, and stars Sadie Sink, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Murray Bartlett, and Regina Hall.

Set in a post-apocalyptic future, O’Dessa is an original rock opera about a farm girl on an epic quest to recover a cherished family heirloom. Her journey leads her to a strange and dangerous city where she meets her one true love – but in order to save his soul, she must put the power of destiny and song to the ultimate test.
