Documentary LYNCH/OZ Makes Streaming Debut, Launches on Digital; Criterion Channel Launch Set (Updated)

Janus Films has launched its documentary LYNCH/OZ, which made a surprise debut on digital today, October 17th, 2023. The film world premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival before receiving a limited release in the US on June 2nd this year.

Lynch/Oz is Alexandre O. Philippe’s examination of the influence Victor Fleming’s 1939 film The Wizard of Oz has had on David Lynch’s filmography. The film features interviews with John Waters, Karyn Kusama, Rodney Ascher, David Lowery and Amy Nicholson.

The film will also be streaming soon on the Criterion Channel, but no word yet on a launch date.

Update: The film will launch on Criterion Channel on October 25th, 2023.
