20th Century Studios Unveils First Trailer, Poster for Rami Malek’s THE AMATEUR

20th Century Studios has released the first trailer and poster for their upcoming thriller THE AMATEUR, which will launch in US theaters on April 11th, 2025.

The Amateur is directed by James Hawes and written by Ken Nolan and Gary Spinelli, based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Robert Littell. It stars Rami Malek, Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Adrian Martinez, Laurence Fishburne, Holt McCallany and Julianne Nicholson.

In the film, after his wife is tragically killed in a London terrorist attack, a CIA cryptographer demands his bosses go after the killers. When it becomes clear they won’t act due to conflicting internal priorities, he blackmails the agency into training him and letting him go after them himself.
