Lionsgate Films is set to release their hit Michael Jackson biopic MICHAEL on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on June 9th, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on April 24th, 2026.
Michael is directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan. It stars Jaafar Jackson, Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, with Miles Teller, and Colman Domingo.
In the film, singer Michael Jackson emerges from Gary, Indiana, as a prodigy in the Jackson 5, captivating audiences with his unmatched talent in the early 1970s.
