Lionsgate has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming horror thriller KILLER WHALE, which will arrive on VOD and digital platforms on January 16th, 2026. The film will have a limited theatrical release day-and-date with its digital launch.
Killer Whale is directed by Jo-Anne Brechin and stars Virginia Gardner, Melanie Jarnson, Mitchell Hope, Isaac Crawley, and Scott James George.
In the film, after a life-shattering tragedy, Trish tries to comfort her best friend, Maddie, by taking her on a spectacular adventure in a private lagoon halfway across the world. Their peaceful retreat soon becomes a terrifying fight to stay alive when the ocean’s most bloodthirsty predator seeks vengeance for a brutal life in captivity.
