The indie comedy drama SHE DANCES is set launch on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on April 28th, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival before debuting in US theaters on March 27th, 2026.
She Dances is directed by Rick Gomez in his directorial debut, from a screenplay by Gomez and Steve Zahn. It stars Zahn, Ethan Hawke, Sonequa Martin-Green, Mackenzie Ziegler, Rosemarie DeWitt and Audrey Zahn.
In the film, forced to reconnect on the road to her final dance competition, a father and daughter must confront their fractured relationship. As they navigate a shared tragedy, the whirlwind of the Young Miss Southeast Regional Dance Finals becomes the backdrop for their journey toward healing. She Dances is a story about rediscovering family and finding yourself—about accepting what is, letting it shape you, and recognizing who you are through the memories of those you love most.
