Magnolia Pictures has set a digital streaming release date for their crime thriller NORMAL, which will arrive on VOD and digital platforms on May 19th, 2026. The film world premiered in the Midnight Madness section of the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival before launching in theaters on April 17th, 2026.
Normal is directed by Ben Wheatley and written by Derek Kolstad, based on a story by Kolstad and Bob Odenkirk. Odenkirk also stars in the film alongside Henry Winkler and Lena Headey.
In the film, interim sheriff Ulysses, called to the snowbound town of Normal, MN, uncovers an international criminal conspiracy at the heart of the seemingly quaint whistle-stop when he comes to the aid of a bank-robbing couple caught up in a deadly mess.
