NEON’s horror mystery HOKUM is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Hulu on October 10th, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2026 SXSW Festival before launching in US theaters on May 1st, 2026. It hit VOD and digital platforms on June 2nd, 2026.
Hokum is written and directed by Damian McCarthy, and stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Will O’Connell, Michael Patric, Siox C, Brendan Conroy, Austin Amelio, and Ezra Carlisle.
In the film, when novelist Ohm Bauman retreats to a remote inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, he is consumed by tales of a witch haunting the honeymoon suite. Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance forces him to confront dark corners of his past.
