The Independent Film Company is set to release their comedy IDIOTS on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on September 22nd, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival before launching in US theaters on August 28th, 2026.
Idiots is written, produced, and directed by Macon Blair, and stars Dave Franco (who also produces the film), O’Shea Jackson Jr., Mason Thames, Kiernan Shipka, Nicholas Braun, and Peter Dinklage.
In the film, when two unqualified bozos are hired to transfer a rich teen to rehab, their straightforward gig quickly spirals into dangerous mayhem.
