Bryan Fuller’s DUST BUNNY Sets HBO Max Streaming Premiere Date

The Roadside Attractions horror thriller DUST BUNNY is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on HBO Max on April 17th, 2026. The film world premiered in the Midnight Madness section of the 2025 Toronto Film Festival, before launching in US theaters on December 12th, 2025. It hit VOD and digital platforms on January 13th, 2026.

Dust Bunny is produced, written and directed by Bryan Fuller in his feature film directorial debut. It stars Mads Mikkelsen, Sigourney Weaver, Sophie Sloan, Rebecca Henderson, Sheila Atim and David Dastmalchian.

In the film, ten-year-old Aurora has a mysterious neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters. He’s a hit man for hire. So, when Aurora needs help killing the monster she believes ate her entire family, she procures his services. Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to assassins gunning for him, Aurora’s neighbor guiltily takes the job. Now, to protect her, he’ll need to battle an onslaught of assassins ― and accept that some monsters are real.

Dust Bunny was nominated for two Film Independent Spirit Awards, including Best First Feature for Fuller, and Best Cinematography for Nicole Hirsch Whitaker.
