Independent Film Company is set to release their action thriller MOTOR CITY on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on August 25th, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival before launching in US theaters on July 24th, 2026.
Motor City is written by Chad St. John, and directed by Potsy Ponciroli. It stars Alan Ritchson, Ben Foster, Pablo Schreiber, Lionel Boyce and Shailene Woodley.
In the film, in 1970s Detroit, John Miller falls for a local gangster’s girl and lands in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. With his life ruined, Miller plots revenge against the man who took his girl away.
