Update 11/17: Amazon has confirmed that AFTER THE HUNT will stream on Prime Video on 11/20:
According to a source, the Amazon MGM Studios psychological drama AFTER THE HUNT is expected to make its streaming debut this week, arriving on Prime Video on November 20th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival before launching in US theaters on October 10th, 2025.
Please note: Amazon has not officially announced or confirmed the US streaming premiere date. As always, release dates are subject to change.
After the Hunt is written by Nora Garrett and directed by Luca Guadagnino. It stars Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stulbarg, and Chloë Sevigny.
From visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, After the Hunt is a gripping psychological drama about a college professor (Julia Roberts) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star student (Ayo Edebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Andrew Garfield), and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come into the light.
The streaming date was revealed on Prime Video Brazil’s Instagram account, which posted the title in their November preview (swipe on the Instagram post below to see listing). Amazon is very likely to release After the Hunt on their Prime Video platform globally.
