Well Go USA is set to release their zombie action thriller COLONY on VOD and digital platforms later in the Fall, arriving on October 6th, 2026. The film world premiered in the Midnight Screenings section of this year’s Cannes Film Festival before launching in US theaters on August 28th, 2026.
Colony is directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Choi Gyu-seok. It stars Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Kim Shin-rok, Shin Hyun-been, and Go Soo.
In the film, Professor Se-jeong is thrust into a bloody nightmare when a rapidly mutating virus is released during a biotech conference causing authorities to seal the facility. Trapped inside with no escape, Se-jeong along with a small group of survivors must fight to stay alive while the infected undergo horrific transformations.
