Universal Pictures is set to release their musical sequel WICKED: FOR GOOD on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on December 30th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on November 21st, 2025.
In addition, the studio has announced the 4K/Blu-ray/DVD will hit retail on January 20th, 2026.
Wicked: For Good is directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, and stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Bowen Yang, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum.
In the film, as an angry mob rises against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba will need to come together one final time. With their singular friendship now the fulcrum of their futures, they will need to truly see each other, with honesty and empathy, if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz, for good.
