Welcome to When To Stream’s Weekly Tracking Report. Every Friday, we’ll break down the film titles whose first window streaming premieres are still not confirmed. This column will not examine second window SVOD premieres, though we’ll obviously still be tracking and reporting those.
One note: There are hundreds of new films every year, and we’re not able to track or highlight every single one. For now, we concentrate on major studio and larger indie distributor releases. There are titles not here whose streaming release dates we will report when available.

Tracking: We’re using NEON’s ANORA as a comp for this one. Both were Palme d’Or winners, both opened in mid-October.

Tracking: 20th Century Studios titles have been following the Disney playbook: 60 day windows. Look for this one on digital around Christmas. A straight-to-Hulu release is unlikely.

Tracking: Sony Pictures Classics finally has an arthouse hit on their hands! They’re keeping this chugging along in theaters, pushing back out estimate a bit.

Tracking: Janus Films will roll this out slowly over the holidays, with a joint Criterion Channel / digital release likely early next year.

Tracking: 20th Century Studios titles have maintained 60-day theatrical windows, and that’s what we’ll estimate here. Could they push it up to have it on digital in time for the lucrative Christmas – New Year’s corridor? We’ll see.

Tracking: Sony has kept up their 30-day theatrical exclusive window, and there’s no reason to think they’ll deviate from that for this sequel.

Tracking: This well-reviewed doc will roll out slowly through the end of the year. We’re estimating a digital release early in 2026.

Tracking: A24 has this priced for PVOD, which means they’ll likely get this on digital within a month of theatrical release.

Tracking: Focus Features expands this nationwide this weekend. We’re estimating they’ll use the same playbook as they did with Bugonia, which would put this on digital by the end of the year.

Tracking: NEON slowly rolls this out over the next few weeks, with Golden Globe nominations and end-of-year critics citations likely dictating how fast they expand. For now, we think an early 2026 release is most likely.

Tracking: Briarcliff titles have struggled at the box-office and quickly pivoted to digital. We’re estimating this Benedict Cumberbatch drama will likely follow suit.

Tracking: IFC takes this wide rights away, which signals to us they’ll likely put this on a 3 or 4 week window. We’ll see how quickly they fast-track it.

Tracking: Upstart distributor The Forge opens this Kristen Stewart directed film in limited release, with an expansion scheduled on January 9, 2026. We imagine they’ll take their time before getting it on digital.
