Welcome to When To Stream’s monthly preview! We’re here to give you an overview of the top streaming titles (including PVOD, Digital, and SVOD) expected in May 2026, and also give a glimpse at the films we expect to launch this month, but have not yet been announced.

HALLOW ROAD (Hulu)

Synopsis: Two parents receive a distressing late-night call from their teenage daughter, who has just accidentally hit a pedestrian. They jump in their car, racing to get there before anyone else stumbles across the scene. ANDRE IS AN IDIOT (VOD/Digital)

Synopsis: A celebration of life filled with raw honesty, surreal bursts of imagination, and brazen irreverence, ANDRÉ IS AN IDIOT shows us what it really means to live happily, truthfully, and hilariously. Synopsis: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie finds Mario and Luigi solving everyday problems in the Mushroom Kingdom with their “let’s-a-go” attitude. They meet a new friend in Yoshi, try to reform a miniaturized Bowser, and eagerly look forward to Peach’s birthday party. A call for help sends the crew across the galaxy to face new worlds, unexpected threats, and iconic characters like Rosalina and Bowser Jr.


Thursday, May 7th, 2026

SEND HELP (Hulu)

Synopsis: Two colleagues become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
