Synopsis: The true story of legendary mixed martial arts and UFC fighter Mark Kerr (Dwayne Johnson), whose obsession with greatness made him a legend – and nearly cost him everything. A soul-stirring epic about ambition, sacrifice and the courage to fight for something greater than victory, written and directed by Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems) and also starring Emily Blunt.

WALTZING WITH BRANDO – $14.99 Sale / TBD Rental

Synopsis: The story of how Marlon Brando plucked Bernard Judge, an obscure but idealistic Los Angeles architect from his stable existence and convinced him that he should build the world’s first ecologically perfect retreat on a tiny and uninhabitable Tahitian island.

Encouraged by her steadfast friends Ashley and Littia, Joy follows her crush Colton to Colorado, hoping for holiday magic. Instead, a shocking revelation and a snowstorm leave her stranded. At her lowest, Joy meets Ridge, a chance encounter that transforms her perspective on life and love.

ABRAHAM’S BOYS: A DRACULA STORY – Shudder

Synopsis: Max and Rudy Van Helsing have spent their lives under the strict and overprotective rule of their father, Abraham. DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE – Peacock

Synopsis: When Mary finds herself at the center of a public scandal and the family faces financial strife, the entire household grapples with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future.

FRANKENSTEIN – Netflix

Synopsis: Dr. Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist, brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.

GOOD FORTUNE – $19.99 Sale / TBD Rental

Synopsis: A well-meaning but rather inept angel named Gabriel meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker and a wealthy capitalist.

MATERIALISTS – HBO Max

Synopsis: A young, ambitious New York City matchmaker finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex.

SOVEREIGN – Hulu

Synopsis: Struggling single father Jerry indoctrinates his son Joe into the sovereign citizen movement, teaching him that laws are mere illusions and freedom is something you take. But, as Jerry’s ideology consumes them, they are set on a collision course with a police chief who has spent his life upholding the rules that Jerry has spent his tearing down.

  1. I dislike this new format. You used to have more than a blurb. These used to contain the cast and director, the good and bad points about the release. Now it’s just the official blurb. I can get that anywhere.
