Universal Pictures has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming horror thriller OTHER MOMMY, which will launch in US theaters on October 9th, 2026.
Other Mommy is directed by Rob Savage and written by Nathan Elston. The film is based on the 2024 novel Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman, and stars Jessica Chastain, Jay Duplass, Dichen Lachman, Sean Kaufman, and Karen Allen.
From James Wan, one of the most influential architects of modern horror behind the Saw, Insidious and The Conjuring franchises—and Rob Savage, the director of bold genre films Host and The Boogeyman, comes a terrifying trip into the darkening world of a young girl, Bela, who forms a relationship with a sinister entity in her home who looks uncannily like her own mother.
