According to our sources, the Independent Film Company is expected to release their horror comedy QUEENS OF THE DEAD on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on November 11th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival before launching in US theaters on October 24th, 2025.

Queens of the Dead is written and directed by Tina Romero, stars Katy O’Brian, Jaquel Spivey, Nina West, Tomas Matos, Margaret Cho, Jack Haven, Quincy Dunn-Baker, Cheyenne Jackson, Riki Lindhome, Dominique Jackson, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Becca Blackwell, Eve Lindley, Tom Savini, and Julie J.
In the film, when a zombie apocalypse breaks out in Brooklyn on the night of a giant warehouse party, an eclectic group of drag queens, club kids, & frenemies must put aside their drama and use their unique skills to fight against the brain-thirsty, scrolling undead.
Queens of the Dead will also stream on Shudder in the next few month. We’ll post with any news of a premiere date.
