Inaugural Entertainment is set to release their thriller THE DUTCHMAN on VOD and digital platforms early next month, arriving on February 3rd, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2025 SXSW Festival before launching in US theaters on January 2nd, 2026.
The Dutchman is directed by Andre Gaines, co-writing along with Qasim Basir, based on the 1964 play Dutchman by Amiri Baraka. The film stars André Holland, Kate Mara, Zazie Beetz, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Aldis Hodge, and Lauren E. Banks.
In the film, a successful black businessman, haunted by his crumbling marriage and identity crisis, is drawn into a psychological game of cat and mouse with a mysterious white woman he encounters on a New York subway.
