Black Bear Pictures has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming romantic fantasy WICKER, which will launch in US theaters on October 23rd, 2026. The film world premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and currently sits at 91% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
Wicker is directed and adapted by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson from the short story “The Wicker Husband” by Ursula Wills-Jones. The cast is led by Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgård, Peter Dinklage and Elizabeth Debicki.
In the film, on the outskirts of a village by the sea, lives a Fisherwoman; smelly, single and perpetually ridiculed. One day, fed up with her stuffy, small-minded neighbors, she commissions herself a husband to be made from wicker. In an otherwise conservative town, this unconventional romance sparks outrage, jealousy and chaos.
