Shane Black’s PLAY DIRTY Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Amazon MGM Studios is set to release the Shane Black crime thriller PLAY DIRTY on digital retail platforms this week, arriving tomorrow, December 2nd, 2025. The film launched on Amazon’s Prime Video platform on October 1st, 2025, and will continue to be available to stream for subscribers.

Play Dirty is co-written and directed by Shane Black, and is an adaptation of the 1962 novel The Hunter, by Donald E. Westlake under the pen name ‘Richard Stark’. It stars Mark Wahlberg, LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, Dermot Mulroney, Tony Shalhoub, Keegan-Michael Key, Nat Wolff, Chukwudi Iwuji and Thomas Jane.

In the film, expert thief Parker gets a shot at a major heist, but to pull it off he and his team must outsmart a South American dictator, the New York mob, and the world’s richest man.
