Samuel Goldwyn Films has unveiled the official trailer and poster for their upcoming crime thriller THE GIRL IN THE RIVER, which will launch on VOD and digital platforms on September 4th, 2026. The film will have a limited theatrical release day-and-date with its digital debut.
The Girl in the River is directed by Brando Benetton, and stars Maggie Grace, Devon Sawa, Tiffany Haddish, and Ralph Macchio.
In the film, s seasoned criminologist and a forensic psychologist are drawn to a remote town to investigate a child’s murder and her twin’s disappearance, only for the case to spiral into obsession as they race against time to catch a killer before it’s too late.
