The Amazon MGM Studios revenge thriller IS GOD IS is set to make its SVOD debut this month, arriving on MGM+ on July 14th, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on May 15th, 2026, and hit VOD and digital platforms on June 2nd, 2026.
Is God Is is written, produced and directed by Aleshea Harris, and is based on her 2018 play of the same name. It stars Kara Young, Mallori Johnson, Janelle Monáe, Vivica A. Fox, and Sterling K. Brown.
In the film, two sisters embark on an epic quest for revenge, confronting a charged family history that pushes them to extraordinary lengths.
