Greenwich Entertainment is set to release their psychological drama WENT UP THE HILL on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on September 26th, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival before launching in US theaters on August 15th, 2025.
Went Up the Hill is directed by Samuel Van Grinsven, and co-written by Van Grinsven and Jory Anast. It stars Vicky Krieps, Dacre Montgomery, Sarah Peirse, Arlo Green and Finlay Grey.
In the film, Jack ventures to remote New Zealand for the funeral of his estranged mother and meets her widow Jill. But his mother’s spirit returns to inhabit each of their bodies, instigating a life-threatening three-way nocturnal dance.
