Amazon MGM Studios’ hit sci-fi adventure PROJECT HAIL MARY is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on MGM+ on June 18th, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on March 20th, 2026, and hit PVOD on May 12th, 2026.
At this time, there is no indication it will premiere simultaneously on Prime Video. We’ll post if there any news of a launch on that subscription platform.
Project Hail Mary is adapted by Drew Goddard from the novel of the same name by Andy Weir, and is produced and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. It stars Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, and Milana Vayntrub.
In the film, Astronaut Ryland Grace awakens on a spacecraft with no memory of himself or his mission. He slowly deduces he is the sole survivor of a crew sent to the Tau Ceti solar system in search of a solution to a catastrophic event on Earth. In his search for answers, Grace must rely on his vast array of scientific knowledge, sheer ingenuity, and human will – but he may not have to search alone.
