WICKED LITTLE LETTERS Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Sony Pictures Classics has set a streaming release date for their comedy WICKED LITTLE LETTERS, which will arrive on VOD and digital platforms on May 7th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival before launching in US theaters on March 29th, 2024.

Wicked Little Letters was directed by Thea Sharrock, written by Jonny Sweet, and stars Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Anjana Vasan, Joanna Scanlan, Gemma Jones, Malachi Kirby, Lolly Adefope, Eileen Atkins, and Timothy Spall.

When deeply conservative English local Edith Swan (Colman) and fellow residents begin to receive wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, her rowdy, foul-mouthed, Irish migrant neighbor Rose Gooding (Buckley) is charged with the crime. The anonymous letters prompt a national uproar, and a trial ensues. However, as the town’s women—led by Police Officer Gladys Moss (Vasan)—begin to investigate the crime themselves, they suspect something is amiss and Rose may not be the culprit after all.
