THE BOOK OF CLARENCE Gets Netflix Streaming Premiere Date
Sony Pictures’ THE BOOK OF CLARENCE is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Netflix on May 11th, 2024. The film premiered in US theaters on January 12th, 2024, before launching on PVOD on February 6th.
The Book of Clarence is a biblical comedy-drama written and directed by Jeymes Samuel, and produced by Samuel, Jay-Z, James Lassiter, and Tendo Nagenda. The film stars LaKeith Stanfield, Omar Sy, RJ Cyler, Anna Diop, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, Alfre Woodard, Teyana Taylor, Caleb McLaughlin, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Marianne Jean-Baptiste James McAvoy, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Streetwise but down-on-his-luck, Clarence is struggling to find a better life for his family, while fighting to free himself of debt. Captivated by the power and glory of the rising Messiah and His apostles, he risks everything to carve his own path to a divine life, and ultimately discovers that the redemptive power of belief may be his only way out.
