The South Korean comedy COBWEB is set have a day-and-date release, arriving in both select US theaters and on digital platforms on February 9th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

Cobweb (not to be confused with the Cobweb released by Lionsgate in 2023) is a black comedy-drama directed by Kim Jee-woon and stars Song Kang-ho, Im Soo-jung, Oh Jung-se, Jeon Yeo-been, and Krystal Jung.

The film takes place in the 1970s, where director Kim is obsessed by the desire to re-shoot the ending of his completed film 'Cobweb', but chaos and turmoil grip the set with interference from the censorship authorities, and the complaints of actors and producers who can't understand the re-written ending. Will Kim be able to find a way through this chaos to fulfill his artistic ambitions and complete his masterpiece?

We’ve added both release dates to our streaming calendar and in theaters calendar.
