Sony Sets Theatrical Re-Release for SUZUME, Digital Date Soon?

Sony Pictures will re-release their animated film SUZUME in US theaters, returning on October 27th, 2023. It will launch in over 200 theaters across the United States and Canada in both Japanese with English subtitles and English dubbed formats.

The release is likely a strategy to help launch its digital and SVOD streaming debuts. And it will hopefully help position it as an Oscar contender in Best Animated Feature.
