Sony Pictures Classics’ DADDIO Digital Streaming Release Date Revealed

The Sony Pictures Classics drama DADDIO is expected to make its streaming debut later this month, arriving on VOD and digital platforms on July 30th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival before launching in US theaters on June 28th, 2024.

Daddio was produced, written and directed by Christy Hall, and stars Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn. Johnson is also a producer on the film.

After landing at JFK International Airport, a young woman (Johnson) takes a cab back to her apartment in Manhattan. During the ride, she and the cab driver, Clark (Penn), have unexpectedly honest conversations about numerous topics, including their past and present relationships, sex and power dynamics, loss, and vulnerability.
