Samuel Goldwyn Films Unveils Official US Trailer, Poster for THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO

Samuel Goldwyn Films has released the official US trailer and poster for their upcoming epic swashbuckler THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, which will launch in US theaters on December 20th, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
The Count of Monte Cristo is based on the 1844 novel of the same name by Alexandre Dumas. The film is written and directed by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière and stars Pierre Niney, Bastien Bouillon, Anamaria Vartolomei, Anaïs Demoustier, Laurent Lafitte, Pierfrancesco Favino, Patrick Mille, Vassili Schneider, and Julien De Saint-Jean.
In the film, arrested on his wedding day for a crime he didn't commit, Edmond Dantes spends fourteen years in prison. After a daring escape, he becomes the wealthy Count of Monte Cristo and seeks revenge on the three men who betrayed him.
