SALEM’S LOT Remake Gets Max Streaming Premiere Date

The remake of Stephen King’s SALEM’S LOT has a streaming premiere date. The long-delayed film will launch on Max on October 3rd, 2024. The news was broken via producer Blumhouse’s newsletter (screenshot below).

Salem's Lot was written and directed by Gary Dauberman, based on Stephen King's 1975 novel of the same name. Produced by New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster, The Wolper Organization, and Vertigo Entertainment, the film stars Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Pilou Asbæk, Alfre Woodard, and William Sadler.

In the film, author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.
