Russell Crowe’s LAND OF BAD Gets Netflix Streaming Release Date
As first reported by What’s on Netflix, the Russell Crowe action thriller LAND OF BAD is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Netflix on July 18th, 2024. The film premiered in US theaters on February 16th, 2024, before pivoting to PVOD on March 19th.
Land of Bad was directed by William Eubank, who co-wrote the script with David Frigerio. The film stars Liam Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, Luke Hemsworth, Ricky Whittle, and Milo Ventimiglia.
The story follows Captain Eddie "Reaper" Grimm (Crowe), a US Air Force drone pilot, who provides air support to a US Army Delta Force team on the ground in southern Philippines. After a mishap, Sergeant JJ "Playboy" Kinney (Liam Hemsworth), a young air force TACP officer attached to the drone team as its JTAC, finds himself part of an extraction team relying only on Reaper's remote air support.
