PROBLEMISTA Gets Max Streaming Premiere Date

The A24 comedy PROBLEMISTA is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Max on June 28th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival before launching in US theaters on March 1st, 2024.

Problemista was written, directed, and co-produced by Julio Torres in his feature directorial debut. It stars Tilda Swinton, Torres, RZA, Greta Lee, Catalina Saavedra, James Scully, and Isabella Rossellini. The film follows a struggling aspiring toy designer from El Salvador who starts working for an erratic art-world outcast in New York City, hoping to stay in the country and realize his dream before his work visa expires.
