According to our sources, A24 is expected to release their psychological thriller OPUS on VOD and digital platform early next month, arriving on April 1st, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival before launching in US theaters on March 14th, 2025.

Please note: A24 has neither announced nor confirmed the release date. As always, release dates are subject to change.

Opus is written and directed by Mark Anthony Green in his feature directorial debut, and stars Ayo Edebiri, John Malkovich, Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, Young Mazino, Stephanie Suganami, and Tatanka Means.

In the film, a young writer is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star who mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago. Surrounded by the star's cult of sycophants and intoxicated journalists, she finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan.

We’ve added the release date to our streaming calendar. Pre-order from Amazon below, and check out the film’s official trailer.
