Netflix Sets Streaming Release Date for Hit Sundance Doc WILL & HARPER

Netflix has set a streaming release date for the comedic documentary WILL & HARPER, which will launch on their platform on September 27th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, and will screen at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

Will & Harper was directed by Josh Greenbaum and features Will Ferrell and Harper Steele.

Roughly 30 years ago, Will Ferrell was brought onto the cast of Saturday Night Live around the same time as Harper Steele was hired as a writer. The two became close collaborators, with Steele writing many of Ferrell’s most iconic characters and sketches. Their professional and creative partnership evolved into a decades-long friendship, and when Ferrell found out his dear friend was coming out as a trans woman, the two embarked on a cross-country road trip to process this new stage in their relationship. And thus, the story of Will & Harper begins.
