Netflix Announces Streaming Premiere Date, Releases First Teaser for Richard Linklater’s HIT MAN

Richard Linklater’s acclaimed action comedy HIT MAN has set a streaming premiere date, arriving on Netflix on June 7th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, and will have a limited theatrical release before its streaming launch.

Hit Man was co-produced and directed by Richard Linklater and starsGlen Powell, both of whom wrote the screenplay based on the 2001 Texas Monthly magazine article of the same name by Skip Hollandsworth. It also stars Adria Arjona. In the film, an undercover Houston police officer poses as a reliable hitman as he tries to save a woman in need.
