NEON’s HANDLING THE UNDEAD Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

NEON is set to release their Norwegian horror film HANDLING THE UNDEAD on VOD and digital platforms, arriving on June 18th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival before arriving in US theaters in limited release on May 31st, 2024.

Handling the Undead was directed by Thea Hvistendahl from a screenplay by Hvistendahl and John Ajvide Lindqvist, based on the novel of the same name by Lindqvist. It stars Renate Reinsve, Bjørn Sundquist, Bente Børsum, Anders Danielsen Lie, Bahar Pars and Inesa Dauksta.

In the film, on an abnormally hot summer day in Oslo, a strange electric field surrounds the city as a collective migraine spreads across town and the newly deceased awake from death.
