NEON Unveils Official Trailer for Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or Winning ANORA

NEON has released the official trailer for their upcoming award-winning Sean Baker comedy/drama ANORA, which will launch in US theaters on October 18th, 2024. The film world-premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the top prize, the Palme d’Or.

Anora was written, directed and edited by Sean Baker. It stars Mikey Madison in the title role, along with Mark Eidelstein, Yuri Borisov, Karren Karagulian, Vache Tovmasyan, Lindsey Normington, and Ivy Wolk.

In the film, Anora, a young sex worker from Brooklyn, gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.
